God’s Garden: “Move Up Day” is scheduled for September 13th. We ask all families who send their children to our classes to re-register them for this new school year by using this link.
New Greeter/Usher Schedule: We will complete the new greeter/usher schedule by Sunday. Please watch your email for the schedule. If you need a paper copy, there will be some printed at the welcome center.
Start Dates for GCF Ministries: As summer comes to an end, we would like to share the fall start dates for many of our ministries that took a break over the summer.
Young at Heart (life group for senior citizens) - This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month at 10:30 am at the Faber home in Jenison. This group will start in September.
Youth Group meets weekly on Wednesdays (6:30-8:30 pm) in the fellowship hall starting on September 2nd.
Women’s Morning Bible Study meets weekly in the upper fellowship room on Wednesdays (9:30-11 am). Start date and study are still to be determined.
Women’s Evening Bible Study meets weekly in the upper fellowship room on Wednesdays (6:30-8:30 pm). The first meeting is September 9. Study details will be available soon!
Play Pray & Partake (life group for moms with young children) meets on the 2nd Friday of each month (10 am - 12 pm), starting on September 11, with one evening meeting a quarter (dates tbd).
Men’s Fellowship meets on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month (7-8:30 pm). Start date and study are still to be determined.
YJAM meets weekly on Tuesdays (7-9 pm) starting on September 8th.
Youth Group Snacks: Thank you to all who brought snacks for the youth group last school year! They were greatly enjoyed and appreciated! If you would like to bless the youth group during this new school year with a snack, please use this signup link!
Picture Directory: On Sunday, we'll have a rough draft of the new picture directory, along with our usual directory, set out in the lobby. PLEASE take a moment to ensure your name is spelled correctly and your contact info is correct. Once we print these into books, we can’t make changes. *We will continue to publish the normal directory periodically, and that will be able to be updated with contact info changes.
Char Stucki: Char Stucki, a friend of many at GCF, died on August 8th. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 5, at Woodward Baptist Church, with visitation from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and a service at 10:30 am.

1. GCF ONLINE GIVING has been updated on our website, gcfchurch.net, and our 'Word Server' app for Android and iOS. We now provide more giving options—you can use Credit/Debit, ACH/Checking, or SMS/Text Giving.
● This system is tightly integrated with our Churchtrac church management software and utilizes the latest security methods.
● To take advantage of all of these new features, you should log in with your name and email, at which time you can set up your password.
2. By logging in, you will be able to view and print your giving records, as well as update your family profile, including email addresses, phone numbers, and other relevant details. Whenever you make changes to your records or contact information, please send an email to secretary@gcfchurch.net to inform me so that the edits can be made in the appropriate locations (e.g., the GCF printed directory). Thank You!
