GCF E-Bulletin for Friday, August 15, 2025

Youth Group: Due to the vacation schedules of the youth group leaders, we have decided to cancel Youth Group on August 20th. Stay tuned for the starting date of Youth Group for the upcoming school year!

God’s Garden: “Move Up Day” is scheduled for September 7th. Starting next week, we will be asking all families who send their children to our classes to reregister them for the upcoming school year. This needs to be done annually.

Lost & Found: The lost and found bin is full, so we will be setting it out for a few weeks. Please take a moment to look over the table in the fellowship hall to make sure nothing is yours. After a couple of weeks, we will donate/discard most of the items. Please do not take anything off the table unless it is yours.

Start Dates for GCF Ministries: As summer comes to an end, we would like to share the fall start dates for many of our ministries that took a break over the summer.

Garden of Hope: Julie Velthouse is involved with an important local ministry, Garden of Hope, which offers support to those experiencing unplanned pregnancy and those who have had an abortion. They recently produced a short video sharing two powerful stories from post-abortive women and how the ministry helped them. The video is on the Garden of Hope’s main page. Feel free to share this website with anyone who may find it helpful.

Jehovah Jireh Job Opening: One of the ministries that GCF supports, Jehovah Jireh, has a part-time job opening that they would love to fill with someone connected to the local church community. If you would like to know more about the position, follow this link.

Contact Information: If you are new to GCF or your contact details have changed, please update your information by completing our contact form, accessible via this link. To be added to our e-bulletin email list, use this link.
