SUNDAY...

PRAYER MEETINGS...
There is always pre-service prayer in the Church Office every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:00 and every Sunday evening at 6:00, ending as the Holy Spirit leads.  The format will be informal and you may quietly come and go as needed.  Anyone is welcomed to join us!  

SUNDAY SCHOOL...
There will be no Sunday School classes at 9:30AM for the summer.  Please look for announcements at the end of August, and plan for classes to begin again on September 12. 

WORSHIP SERVICE...  10:15 AM 

God's Garden...
Is an age appropriate ministry available to children 4-10 years old starting immediately after "Praise and Worship".  
“Tendershoots” (4-6 year olds) may be brought to the multi-purpose room (located in the classroom wing)
“Strong Plantings”(7-10 year olds) meet in the multi-purpose room (in the classroom across the hall)
Your children may be picked up in the classrooms immediately following the service.

NURSERY…
Is available for children, ages 0-4 year olds. The children may be dropped off prior to the service.

“STEP-UP” (Stand, Tell, Effect, Praise)...  
“Step-UP”(High School age) meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month and the time is from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the church.  It is geared toward those of high school age. We will be enjoying God and each other as we learn, laugh, worship and fellowship.  Our next meeting will be on Sunday, July 25, from 6-9:00 PM, which will be at the church.  Kyle Parcher will be teaching, along with lots of fun and games.
 

MONDAY…

GETTING IT RIGHT…(FOR MEN)
There has been a men’s meeting (age 18 & older) at church on Monday mornings from 6:30-7:30 AM. However, it has concluded for the summer and will resume the normal schedule again beginning on September 13th.  Please be sure to mark your calendar and join them again at that time. 

The purpose of these meetings is to help men grow to be the “mighty men of God that He created them to be.”  Now is the time for men to step up and “get it right,” learning to work out Matthew 13:44, “They will know we are Christians by our love”, helping each other with accountability, balance, purity, etc.  The meeting includes prayer, worship, a ten minute message, and group discussion & prayer. 

Stand-Together - College and Career 
If you’re hungry for more of God and are interested in what the Bible has to say about life, if you want to spend time worshipping the Lord and want a deeper walk with Him, then join us on Monday nights at 7:00.  For more information, please Call Calvin Bergsma at 293-3172 or Beth Steenwyk at 882-4219. 

TUESDAY …

Y-JAM, GCF Music Mentoring Program
Is a musical gathering born out of a passion to see the younger generation learn the skills of the older. GCF is committed to teach the next generation of musicians how to excel on their instrument, serve in the church and lead the body of Christ in worship.

First Tuesdays: Special guests, watching videos, games.

Second Tuesdays: Private Lesson series. The Private lessons aren't private at all. The kids have an opportunity to win a lesson with me and bring their friends along to learn. These lessons are tailored  to the winner for their instrument at their skill level. Anyone else is invited to come and learn from the "second row".                                  

Third Tuesdays: This is the night we're famous for! Everyone bring your instrument and we'll all jam to some current worship songs. Chord charts are provided and everyone gets to play. Get to feel what its like to be in a band! Learn how your instrument interacts with the other instruments. This is also the night where the kids have the chance to win one of the two private lesson slots for each month.                                                                                              
Fourth Tuesdays: Private Lesson series

WEDNESDAY …

HOME GROUP...
Home Group usually meets at the home of Calvin & Barb Bergsma on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month.  However, for the month of August we will meet only once, which will be on the 18th.  fellowship begins at 7 PM; the meeting promptly starts at 7:30 and ends at 9:00.  Please join us if you can or call the Bergsma's at 457-2960 for more information or directions if needed.
