SUNDAY...

SUNDAY SCHOOL
There is Sunday School for children on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 6:30-7:30 PM.  Michelle Van Os will teach children from the ages of 3-5; Becky and Ben Hoffman, from ages 6-9; and Sarah Hall from ages 9-12.  We welcome you to bring your children and join us for these Sunday School times.  If you have any questions, please call Sarah at 616-446-3143.

GETTING IT RIGHT…(FOR MEN)     (1st and 3rd Sundays of the month)
There is a men’s meeting (age 18 & older) at GCF on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 6:30-8:00 pm.

The purpose of these meetings is to help men grow to be the “mighty men of God that He created them to be.”  Now is the time for men to step up and “get it right,” learning to work out Matthew 13:44, “They will know we are Christians by our love”, helping each other with accountability, balance, purity, etc.  The meeting includes prayer, worship, a ten minute message, and group discussion & prayer. 

WORSHIP SERVICE TIMES...  8:45-10:15 AM and 11:00-12:30 PM 

God's Garden...
Is an age appropriate ministry available to children 4-10 years old starting immediately after "Praise and Worship".  
“Tendershoots” (4-6 year olds) may be brought to the multi-purpose room (located in the classroom wing)
“Strong Plantings”(7-10 year olds) meet in the multi-purpose room (in the classroom across the hall)
Your children may be picked up in the classrooms immediately following the service.

NURSERY…
"God's Garden - Seedlings & Sprouts" is available for children 0-4 years of age. They may be dropped off prior to the services
at 8:30 AM or 10:45 AM.

“STEP-UP!” (Stand, Tell, Effect, Praise)...  
“Step-UP!”(High School ages 14-18) meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month and the time is from 6-8 PM at the church.  It is geared toward those of high school age. We will be enjoying God and each other as we learn, laugh, worship and fellowship.  For more information, please go to www.stepupgcf.com.  Also, feel free to bring your friends!

Stand-Together - College and Career

TUESDAY …

Y-JAM, GCF Music Mentoring Program
Is a musical gathering born out of a passion to see the younger generation learn the skills of the older. GCF is committed to teach the next generation of musicians how to excel on their instrument, serve in the church and lead the body of Christ in worship.

First Tuesdays: Special guests, watching videos, games.

Second Tuesdays: Private Lesson series. The Private lessons aren't private at all. The kids have an opportunity to win a lesson with me and bring their friends along to learn. These lessons are tailored  to the winner for their instrument at their skill level. Anyone else is invited to come and learn from the "second row".                                  

Third Tuesdays: This is the night we're famous for!  Everyone bring your instrument and we'll all rock out to some modern praise songs. Chord charts are provided and everyone gets to play. Get to feel what its like to be in a band! Learn how your instrument interacts with the other instruments. This is also the night where the kids have the chance to win one of the two private lesson slots for each month.  
                                                                                           
Fourth Tuesdays: Private Lesson series.  All guitar players are welcome.  Bring your Tele (or another guitar if you don't have a Telecaster).

THURSDAY …

HOME GROUP with Calvin & Barb Bergsma meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month.  Fellowship begins at 7PM and the meeting promptly starts at 7:30 PM and ends at 9PM.  Please join us if you can or call the Bergsma's at 616-457-2960 for more information or directions if needed. 

HOME GROUP with Rusty & Pam Richter meets at 5665 Ivanrest SW in Grandville on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month at 7PM.  This is for body ministry and will involve teaching, sharing, prayer, and fellowship.  You may call 531-9563 or email them at pamelarich@comcast.net for more information. 

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
The Women’s Bible Study will begin again on Thursday, January 12, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.  Childcare will be provided.  We want to invite you to join us as Marcia Volkers leads us in a study of Ruth—a woman who broke the rules of conventional religion.  Discover not only how living radically, as Jesus did, but how LOVING RADICALLY, as Jesus did, is part of God’s plan for us as we live His gospel.
