We, like the older Levites,
come into the category of those who "keep the charge of the Tabernacle" rather
than warring the warfare of the service." (Numbers 8:24-26).
We cannot aspire any longer to be active
missionaries. We are both now in our 81st years, and Andrew's Parkinson's
disease problems have steadily increased, so that his activities are severely
limited. However, we do still exercise some pastoral care for both
fellowships and individuals, mainly through telephone counseling when it is
sought or by letter. It is a great contrast to our traveling days, but it
seems we can still be of help at times. The Lord is very gracious to us!
We do cherish your friendship and continued love
and support, both through prayer and financially. We also do pray for you
all regularly and know that God is blessing and will bless you abundantly!
