Parents Night Out!
On Saturday, February 18 from 5:00 to 8:30 pm, the Step Up youth
group will be hosting an evening of free child care for GCF
families. This will be an evening for GCF parents to enjoy a night
out and have their children well cared for. Nursery for the young
ones (Nurse included) and games, crafts, dinner, snack, and Bible
teaching for the older ones. This is for children up to 10 years old
(12 if you like). You may drop your children off and pick them up
at anytime between 5:00 to 8:30.
EXPERIENCE ISRAEL TODAY
GCF is hosting a trip to Israel on November
12-23, 2012, and those who are interested in coming can pick up a
brochure from the back table, or check out details here on the
church website. It is important to make this decision well in
advance and sign up to secure our reservations and best pricing.
For more information you may call Calvin Bergsma at 616-293-3172.
CHURCH DIRECTORY
Be
sure to pick up a copy of the new church directory which is

be having one with pictures, but that will be available at a later
time.

jump-in: jr high youth meeting
JUMP-IN is on the second Saturday of every month. The goal of
JUMP-IN is to be intimate with God, to bring a practical biblical
perspective to everyday life, and to prepare the young saints for
service.
Meetings are at GCF from 7-9 PM. Please mark your calendar to come
and join us for this great opportunity in learning how to serve God
and others through your actions of giving!
HOME GROUPS
If you would like to receive encouragement
during the week or to feel closer knit through the body of believers
at GCF, we encourage you to go to a home group meeting. It is
an excellent way to get to know others and let God minister to you!
GCF's Home Groups meet in two different locations:
1)
The home of Calvin & Barb Bergsma, 1134
Baldwin in Jenison on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month. Fellowship begins at 7:00 PM and the meeting promptly starts at 7:30
and ends at 9:00. Please join us or call the Bergsma's at
457-2960 for more information.
2) The home of Rusty & Pam Richter, 5665 Ivanrest Ave in Grandville
on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month at 7PM. This is a body
ministry and will involve teaching, sharing, prayer, and fellowship.
Please call them at 531-9563 or email
pamelarich@comcast.net
for any questions. They would love to have you join them!
Y-JAM EVERY TUESDAY 7-9PM
All youth, ages 10 and up, interested in learning more about worship
music are invited to join us for weekly Y-Jam sessions.
We meet every Tuesday evening at the church from 7-9 PM; if you fit
that age category, please join us!
ATTENTION PARENTS AND CHILDREN
For the safety of our children and adults, please do not bring
or use skate boards, roller blades, balls or toys anywhere in the
parking lot, sidewalks, or by the front door. However, they
may be used in the backyard of the church. Parents, we
appreciate your help in enforcing this new policy for the safety of
all.
AUDIO CD/VIDEO
RECORDINGS
CD/DVD’s
of all services, past and present, are available free of
charge. To request a CD, please see Steve Assink immediately
after the service or call him at 616-681-0123. Sermons
in Audio & Video format are also posted on the church website at
www.gcfchurch.net usually
within two days of each Sunday sermon given, so they can be
heard that way too if you couldn’t be there on a given Sunday.
GCF PRAYER CHAIN MINISTRY
GCF has a Prayer Chain Ministry in which all those attending this
fellowship may take advantage of. If you would like to be
added to that list to pray for others, you can send your name, phone
number, and email address (if you have one) to Kathleen at
prayer@gcfchurch.net or
call 457-6557. Prayerfully consider being added to this
prayer chain list to see God move through the prayers of His saints!
Philippians 4:6, "Be
anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be make known to God; and the
peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
